Is the product finished?
No — we're building it right now with founding studios, which is exactly why the seat is $10/month locked forever. Claiming a seat charges $1 today to hold your card on file; the $10/month billing only starts when we launch. You'll see working software within weeks and your feedback decides what gets built first. If we don't ship, you cancel and you're out one dollar.
I already use My Music Staff or Fons. Why switch?
Those are fine calendars. But My Music Staff won't charge a card when your policy is broken — it hands out credits and leaves the awkward conversation to you. Fons enforces fees but keeps almost no client records. Cadenza does policy enforcement and your student data, and we migrate everything for you, free.
Won't parents hate automatic charges?
Parents sign your policy at enrollment and get a reminder before the window closes. In practice, enforcement done by software with a polite receipt feels fairer than enforcement done inconsistently by a teacher who's tired of fighting. And late cancels drop fast once the policy is real.
